🔼 Talkin’ Ball. Coming off his debut at the helm of the Cougs, Washington State head coach Kirby Moore will be on the mic tonight for the second episode of the Cougar Football Hour from 6-7 p.m. at Zeppoz in Pullman.

The weekly program features Moore, along with players and members of the coaching staff reviewing this past weekend’s matchup with Washington and looking ahead to a trip to Kansas State this weekend.

🔼 On The Road Again. WSU Football hits the road again this Saturday, traveling to Manhattan for its first-ever meeting with Kansas State. The Cougars are looking to bounce back from an Apple Cup loss to Washington, a game in which WSU’s defense kept things close for much of the afternoon.

Quarterback Caden Pinnick showed flashes in his WSU debut, throwing for 142 yards while adding 61 yards and a touchdown on the ground. With another challenging road environment awaiting them, Saturday gives WSU an immediate opportunity to respond and earn its first victory of the Coach Moore era.

🔼 Movin’ Up The List. Right-hander reliever Ryan Walker continues to move up the list among WSU alums who have reached the big leagues.

This season, Walker has pitched in 33 games for the San Francisco Giants and racked up 23 strikeouts.

With those numbers, he became just the eighth former Coug hurler to pitch in 200+ big league games (226 for his career) and is the ninth Coug to reach 250+ strikouts in his career (260).
