🔼 Happy Homecoming. The Cougs are back at Gesa Field tomorrow as Homecoming weekend takes over Pullman.

This weekend marks the fourth all-time meeting between the two programs, but the first in Pullman after the Cougs won a 29-26 thriller in San Diego last fall.

Kickoff is set for 7:25 pm on the CW.

🔼 Show Stopper. On Thursday night, the show started and stopped with Keara Fitzgerald.

Fitzgerald set another new career-high, racking up 11 saves as the WSU women’s soccer team played to a scoreless draw against the Golden Bears of Cal.

The 11 saves is the most by a Coug since April of 2021 and it tied for the seventh-most single-match saves in WSU history.

🔼 Pullman To The Pros. The 2025 NFL season kicked off last night and as the league gets its season underway there are plenty of former Cougs to be following.

13 different WSU alums are on opening weekend rosters with Gardner Minshew (Chiefs), Jaylen Watson (Chiefs), Jaden Hicks (Chiefs) and Daiyan Henley (Chargers) all taking the gridiron tonight for the AFC showdown.

🔼 Back At It. The gridiron isn’t the only place that former Cougs are taking over as Elyse Bennett, a standout on the WSU soccer team from 2017 to 2021, signed a free agent contract with the Orlando Pride of the NWSL this week.

The former Coug has played the past three years with the Kansas City Current, the OL Reign and the San Diego Wave FC.
