📈 STOCK UP
🔼 Kings Of The Mountain. The WSU football squad rolled into Fort Collins on Saturday and climbed to the top of the victory mountain with a stifling defensive effort en route to a 20-3 win over Colorado State.
Redshirt-senior QB Zevi Eckhaus threw for 189 yards and two touchdowns to help lead a balanced offensive attack for the Cougs, which accumulated 347 total yards, 189 passing and 158 rushing. Redshirt-senior Josh Meredith had four receptions for 60 yards, leading a contingent of nine Cougars with a least one reception. Redshirt-sophomore Leo Pulalasi led the Cougars in rushing with 50 yards on the ground.

🔼 Cardiac Cougs. There was no fingernails left in Bohler Gym on Saturday night after a five-set thriller from the Cougs.
WSU showed resilience and poise, rallying behind a balanced attack and clutch defense to outlast Santa Clara, 3-2 (25-21, 16-25, 15-25, 27-25, 15-6).
Melina Christodoulou was electric, finishing with a team-high 19 kills on .324 hitting while adding eight digs and two blocks. Lucie Blažková was a difference-maker at the net, recording eight kills, six blocks, and two service aces for 14 points. Italia Bernal directed the offense with 29 assists and chipped in six digs.
Defensively, the Cougars were anchored by Tinons Munar Galmés, who posted 15 digs, while Maddy Joswick added six digs and two aces.
🔼 Record Running. Freshman Rosemary Longisa and sophomore Solomon Kipchoge set course records in their respective events at the 2025 Gans Creek Classic. The Cougar women finished ninth overall, while the men finished 15th overall.
In the women's 6k gold race, Longisa took home the title, running a course record time of 19 minutes and 7 seconds. This is the second consecutive meet in which Longisa has set a course record, having done so two weeks ago at the Cougar Classic.
Kipchoge won the Men's 8k gold race with a course and personal record time of 22 minutes and 24.7 seconds. His time was 8 seconds better than the second-place finisher and almost 10 seconds better than his previous best 8k time.
