🔼 Sunday Standouts. Coming off back-to-back 100+ tackle seasons, former WSU linebacker Daiyan Henley continues to lead the Chargers defense through the first three weeks of the 2026 NFL season.

On Sunday, Henley led Los Angeles’ near upset of Josh Allen and the Bills with a team-high nine tackles and two fumble recoveries, helping the Chargers’ defense to force five turnovers from Buffalo.

A couple of other former Cougars also made their presence felt in Week 3. Kyle Williams provided one of New England’s few explosive plays in its loss at Jacksonville, hauling in a 34-yard reception for his second catch of the season. Abraham Lucas continued to be a fixture along Seattle’s offensive line, playing all 67 offensive snaps at right tackle as the Seahawks piled up 31 points in a narrow loss to Washington.
