🔼 Packin’ The Pitch. For the first time in nearly three weeks, the WSU soccer team is back at home tonight for its nonconference finale.
The Cougs are set to welcome Seattle U to town for a 6 pm showdown.
WSU has come out with a result in four of its past five matches (1-1-3), including back-to-back draws on the road.
Goalkeeper Ashlyn Dvorak has been outstanding for the Cougs, racking up 26 saves in her five starts, including a .839 save percentage and just a goals-against-average of 1.00.
🔼 Home Sweet Home. After back-to-back weeks on the road to start the 2026 season, the Cougs will finally take the field at Gesa for three straight home games, beginning Saturday when Duquesne comes to town.
Kickoff is set for 12 pm on the USA Network.

🔼 Touting Thomas. After posting the first two-interception game by a Coug since 2002, WSU defensive back Jaylen Thomas earned Pac-12 Conference Defensive Player of the Week accolades on Monday.
Thomas, a redshirt-sophomore transfer from San Jose State, picked off two passes and returned the second 50 yards for a touchdown at Kansas State last Saturday. Thomas’ first interception came on a KSU fourth-down pass attempt early in the second quarter and the second saw Thomas race 50 yards to score as time expired to end the first half.
🔼 Back To Bohler. Much like the soccer squad, the WSU volleyball team is back at home for the first time this month when it welcomes Long Beach State to Bohler Gym for back-to-back matches starting tomorrow night.
The Cougs look to continue to defend its home turf as they are perfect 3-0 at home this season.
First serve is set for 7 p.m. on Thursday and 6 p.m. on Friday.

🔼 Opening Act. Ever since she’s stepped on campus at WSU, sophomore Kaitlyn Helm has been a force for the WSU women’s golf team.
The opening tournament of the 2026-27 season was no different as Helm earned at top-12 finish at this week’s Badger Invitational in Madison, Wisc.
Battling rainy and windy weather for much of the week, the Cougs finished ninth overall.
