🔼 Three’s Company. The calendar may read September, but the Cougs are heating up.
The Washington State volleyball squad rolled through an East Coast swing with victories over Harvard (3-0) and Seton Hall (3-1) to extend their win streak to three.
Lucie Blažková piled up 19 kills in the two victories, while the Cougars as a team had 16 blocks in each match.

🔼 Flyin’ Around. Former Coug Jalen Thompson had a monster Sunday for the Arizona Cardinals, posting a team-high 10 tackles to help guide his squad to a 27-22 home victory and a 2-0 start to the 2025 season.
It marks the 10th double-digit tackle game of Thompson’s seven-year NFL career.
Two-time NFL Champion Jaylen Watson also had a big, racking up nine tackles in the Chiefs’ home showdown with the Philadelphia Eagles.
🔼 Youth Of A Nation. Now that’s one way to make an impression!
In just her second collegiate tournament, WSU women’s golf freshman Kaitlyn Helm fired an opening-round 66 to take the top spot on the leaderboard headed into Monday’s second round at the Badger Invitational, hosted by the University of Wisconsin.
Helm tallied seven birdies and just one bogey while tying the WSU freshman single-round record and tied for the second-best single-round by any Coug in program history.
Senior Hannah Harrison joins Helm in the Top-10 after carding an opening-round even-par 72 to sit tied for ninth while sophomore Grace Rubelsky posted a two-over 74 to sit tied for 25th.
The Cougars finished Sunday's opening-round tied for third with Western Kentucky at even par, two strokes behind co-leaders Illinois and Delaware at two-under.
🤔 COUGAR TRIVIA

As we mentioned, Kaitlyn Helm’s 66 in the opening round of the Badger Invitational is the second best individual round in program history.
