🔼 Business Trip. 2-0 at home.
Now, it’s time to take this show on the road.
The WSU football squad packs their bags for the first time this season when it heads to North Texas for a Saturday afternoon showdown with the Mean Green.
Through the first two weeks, WSU has limited opponents to 11.5 ppg, which ranks 30th in the country. The Cougs have allowed just 217 yards per game in the first two victories, which ranks in the top-20 nationally.
Kickoff is set for 12:35 pm.
🔼 Jolt From Jordyn. No better way to celebrate 200 career matches for Head Coach Todd Shulenberger than with a W, right?
That’s how the WSU women’s soccer team spent their Thursday night, grabbing a 1-0 road victory over UC San Diego, thanks to a second-half goal from redshirt-senior Jordyn Young.
Young, a transfer from California, scored her first goal of the season in the 60th minute when she picked off a passing miscue between the UCSD goalkeeper and backline and delivered a composed left-footed finish into the open goal from 18 yards out.
🔼 Fast Start. Now that’s how you start the season!
The WSU men’s golf squad got their 2025-26 season off to a fast start, firing the lowest three-round score in program history to capture a six-stroke victory at the Palouse Collegiate this week.
Sophomore Dylan Burcham captured his first collegiate title as he finished at 15-under, 198, for a one-stroke victory to take medalist honors.
This marked the first tournament win for the Cougars since the season-ending National golf Invitational title in 2024.
🤔 COUGAR TRIVIA

As we mentioned, this week’s tournament victory by the Cougs at the Palouse Collegiate is the first for WSU since the spring of 2024.
How many tournament victories does WSU with Dustin White at the helm of the program (nine seasons)?
Got a guess?
