🔼 We Talkin’ Bout Practice. Well, that escalated quickly.

From the quiet summer months to jam-packed action, campus came alive over the past few days as Wazzu squads are full force into training camp preparing for the start of the upcoming 2025-26 athletic calendar.

Joining the football and soccer squads this week will be the Cougar volleyball program as they hit the court for preseason practices.

🔼 Going Global. A trio of Cougars are getting their summer work in on a global scale.

This week, Charlotte Abraham, Marta Alsina and Tanja Valancic are all competing in the 2025 FIBA U20 Women’s Eurobasket Tournament in Matosinhos, Portugal.

🔼 Wazzu Worldwide. The trio of women’s hoops standouts weren’t the only ones on a global stage as the men’s hoops program continued their European trip by enjoying some time on the southern coast of Spain.

⏱️ COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF: 2️⃣6️⃣ DAYS

One of the many new faces that will be donning a Wazzu uniform this fall will be #2️⃣6️⃣ Tyrone Cotton III.

Cotton III is a Chicago, Ill. native who will be a part of the Cougar cornerback room.

Not only was a he a star on the gridiron at Glenbrook South High School, but he was also a two-time All-Conference honoree in track & field as well.
