It’s almost that time! We’re just over 72 hours from kickoff in Pullman and we CAN’T WAIT!

We’ve got everything you need to get you ready for Saturday’s season opener against the Vandals! Kickoff set for 7:10 pm on The CW!

🔼 Fillin’ Up The Fall. Not only are the football boys in action this weekend, but so are the rest of the Cougs as the fall athletic calendar kicks into high gear!

The soccer squad is back on the pitch tomorrow night when they travel to Idaho for a 7 pm kick.

On Friday, both the cross country programs, along with the volleyball squad open up their 2025 slate. The running Cougs are set to host the annual WSU Alumni Open, while the volleyball Cougs are in Salt Lake for the weekend and take on Lafayette on Friday afternoon.

🔼 The Comeback Kid. If it seems like this soccer season is a little personal for WSU’s Keara Fitzgerald, it’s because it is.

Before arriving to WSU, the California native played in 51 games across her three seasons at UC San Diego. But in her final game as a Triton, she tore her ACL in the final 15 minutes. 

After the season, Fitzgerald entered the transfer portal without knowing the full extent of her injury. Three weeks after the injury, she found out it was an ACL tear, and teams lost interest. WSU however, kept their name in the running and took a chance on Fitzgerald.
