This week, it was unveiled that the Washington State men’s basketball team will face the Seattle U Redhawks, Saturday, December 19 in the Seattle Holiday Classic at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle.
The Cougars will face Seattle U in the first half of a doubleheader showcase, which also features Washington facing Baylor in the second half of the showcase event.
Tickets for the Seattle Holiday Classic will go on sale later today through Ticketmaster and the Climate Pledge Arena Box Office.

That’s right, we are now just 1️⃣8️⃣ days away from the kickoff of the 2026 football season for the Cougs.
The 201️⃣8️⃣ WSU Football team will be one that remembered forever by the Wazzu faithful.
Gardner Minshew II and his glorious mustache took over the college football world throughout the season as the graduate transfer QB put the finishing touches on a magical season with a epic 28-26 defeat of #25 Iowa State in the 201️⃣8️⃣ Alamo Bowl.
With the victory over the Cyclones, WSU set a new single-season program record for wins with 11 on the season.
Throughout the summer, we will be counting down the days
to the return of Wazzu Football this fall. The Cougs will take on Washington
in the Apple Cup on Sept. 6 in Seattle.
