🔼 They’re Backkk. If you couldn’t tell by the whistles blowing around campus, the Cougs are officially back in action.

On Wednesday, Wazzu returned to the practice field for its first day of training camp ahead of their season opener later this month against Idaho.

🔼 The Cougs Are Coming. The football squad isn’t the only one hitting the field this week as the WSU soccer team returned to the pitch to begin preparation for their 2025 season.

The Cougs will put their 11-match home unbeaten streak on the line when they host Utah State in the season opener on Thursday, August 14.

🔼 Havin’ A Blast. Former Coug Kyle Manzardo is making the most of his shot with the Cleveland Guardians this season.

In 92 games with Cleveland, Manzardo has 18 HRs and 47 RBIs.

He is looking to become just the fourth WSU alum to hit 20+ in a single-season in the MLB, he would join Ron Cey, John Olerud and Ken Phelps.

⏱️ COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF: 2️⃣9️⃣ DAYS

Playing in a conference with two of the top-10 teams in the country, the 192️⃣9️⃣ Washington State football team put together the first double-digit victory season in program history.

The Cougars rolled to a record of 10-2, including posting six shutouts as a team.
