🔼 Smarty Cats. The 2025-26 Washington State outdoor track team earned nine academic honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, headlined by sophomore national champion Rosemary Longisa as the organization’s 2026 Female Track Scholar Athlete of the Year.

Both the Cougar men’s and women’s track teams were named All-Academic Teams, while Longisa, Mercy Biwott, Caroline Jepkorir, Solomon Kipchoge, Josphat Meli, and Kutoven Stevens were named All-Academic Scholar Athletes.

Cougs don't just show up on game day. They show up every day.

Cougs Mobile, a wireless service built in partnership with WSU, directs a portion of every payment toward WSU athletics and student programs, at no extra cost to you. No donation form. No pledge drive. Just your wireless plan backing Coug Country.

Unlimited plans from $25/mo. No contracts. No hidden fees. Keep your number.

🔼 Going Global. After an All-Conference freshman season, WSU rowing standout Harriet Thompson is back on the water yet again this summer.

🔼 Countin’ Down. Tick tock, tick tock, we’re getting closer and closer.

That’s right, we are now 4️⃣4️⃣ days away from the kickoff of the 2026 football season for the Cougs.

After getting a small taste of collegiate football last season, defensive end Luke Webb is ready for even more in 2026.

Webb, who will wear #4️⃣4️⃣ this year for the Cougs, redshirted last year, appearing in one game on special teams against Oregon State.

Prior to arriving in Pullman, Webb helped his Camas High School Squad to a 13-0 record and an appearance in the WIAA 4A Championship game during his senior year.

Throughout the summer, we will be counting down the days
to the return of Wazzu Football this fall. The Cougs will take on Washington
in the Apple Cup on Sept. 6 in Seattle.

🏈 SEPTEMBER IS COMING

A new era for WSU Football is on the horizon.

We are now less than 50 days away from the Cougs returning to the gridiron and last week, Head Coach Kirby Moore sat down on The Dawn with Yogi Roth to talk expectations for the 2026 season, where the Cougars fit into the new Pac-12 and more
