🔼 On The Move. As part of the improvements being made to the fan experience at Gesa Field, Washington State Football will be swapping its home sideline to now be located on the south side of Gesa Field, with the visiting team positioned on the north side moving into the 2026 season.

"With the new era of the Pac-12, updated conference policies allow us to enhance the game day experience,” said WSU Vice President and Director of Athletics Jon Haarlow. “Our students are a vital part of the atmosphere, and this change will help create even more energy at Gesa Field alongside our new fan enhancements. We also want to be respectful of our loyal season ticket holders who may wish to relocate, and we'll do our best to accommodate those requests. We're excited for a great season and expect Gesa Field to be electric come September 19.”

🔼 Summer Session. The calendar may read summer, but for former Cougs Laura Jansen, Magda Jehlárová, and Pia Timmer, it’s been anything but a summer break.

The trio have spent much of the summer playing in the Volleyball Nations League.

The FIVB Volleyball Women’s Nations League (VNL) is a highly anticipated annual event that showcases the best women’s national volleyball teams from around the globe.

That’s right, we are now 4️⃣6️⃣ days away from the kickoff of the 2026 football season for the Cougs.

Sometimes, you gotta show some love to the specialists!

Introducing a fresh face who will be wearing #4️⃣6️⃣ this season, kicker Miguel Arenas.

Arenas arrived in Pullman in January to join the new era of Cougar football after spending last season as the kickoff specialist at North Texas. Last fall, he appeared in eight games, kicking off 38 times, producing 14 total touchbacks and helped the unit finish in the top-40 in the FBS in kick return defense.

Throughout the summer, we will be counting down the days
to the return of Wazzu Football this fall. The Cougs will take on Washington
in the Apple Cup on Sept. 6 in Seattle.
