🔼 The Midway Point. Major League Baseball and two former Cougs have reached the midway point of the 2026 season.
Kyle Manzardo has blasted 10 homeruns and driven in 30 RBI with 32 runs scored for the Guardians so far this year, while Ryan Walker has been a vital piece of the Giants bullpen, recording three saves, three holdouts and 19 strikeouts.
🔼 The Full Docket. The countdown is officially on.
On Tuesday, the WSU women’s volleyball program unveiled its 2026 non-conference slate to complete its full schedule for the upcoming season.
The non-conference schedule features 10 matches, five in Pullman and five on the road.
Cougs don't just show up on game day. They show up every day.
Cougs Mobile, a wireless service built in partnership with WSU, directs a portion of every payment toward WSU athletics and student programs, at no extra cost to you. No donation form. No pledge drive. Just your wireless plan backing Coug Country.
Unlimited plans from $25/mo. No contracts. No hidden fees. Keep your number.

🔼 Countin’ Down. Tick tock, tick tock, we’re getting closer and closer.
That’s right, we are just 5️⃣3️⃣ days away from the kickoff of the 2026 football season for the Cougs.
He may have only spent one season in Pullman, but Colby Humphrey made an impact in those 12 games, racking up 5️⃣3️⃣ tackles from his defensive back position, along with two INTs and two pass breakups as he helped the Cougs back to a bowl game.
In April, Humphrey signed a training camp deal with the San Francisco 49ers.
Throughout the summer, we will be counting down the days
to the return of Wazzu Football this fall. The Cougs will take on Washington
in the Apple Cup on Sept. 6 in Seattle.
🔼 Welcome To The Fam. Coming off a championship season this spring, the WSU Baseball program added a new face to the dugout as part of its coaching staff this week.
Head Coach Nathan Choate announced the addition of Kimble Schuessler as an assistant coach. Schuessler’s on field responsibilities will include the outfielders, coaching first base and assist working with the hitters.
Schuessler comes to WSU after coaching as a graduate assistant at his alma mater University of Texas last season. Schuessler helped Texas reach the College World Series, working with the Longhorn hitters, infielders and assisting with scouting reports.
