The Official Newsletter for Washington State Athletics, presented by BECU

Good Morning, Wazzu Fam. Love to see our guys having big time summers!

What all do we have in today’s Brew? Check it out below.

🏀 Summer Slammin’
⚽️ Reunited and It Feels So Good
⏱️ Countin’ Down
👏 And much more!

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Summer Slammin’. Former WSU standout Isaac Jones is having quite the start to the NBA Summer League for the Detroit Pistons.

After spending last season with Sacramento, Jones signed the Pistons in February and has taken flight this summer.

In two summer league games, Jones is averaging 19 points, seven rebounds, one assist and one block shot for the Pistons.

Cougs don't just show up on game day. They show up every day.

Cougs Mobile, a wireless service built in partnership with WSU, directs a portion of every payment toward WSU athletics and student programs, at no extra cost to you. No donation form. No pledge drive. Just your wireless plan backing Coug Country.

Unlimited plans from $25/mo. No contracts. No hidden fees. Keep your number.

🔼 Countin’ Down. Tick tock, tick tock, we’re getting closer and closer.

That’s right, we are just 5️⃣5️⃣ days away from the kickoff of the 2026 football season for the Cougs.

A rising star on the WSU offensive line will be wearing #5️⃣5️⃣ this fall with redshirt freshman Arion Williams switching from 72 last year to 5️⃣5️⃣ this upcoming season.

Williams was a two-time All League honoree at Orange Luthern High School in Souther California and spent last season redshirting with the Cougs. He can play both the guard and center positions.

Throughout the summer, we will be counting down the days
to the return of Wazzu Football this fall. The Cougs will take on Washington
in the Apple Cup on Sept. 6 in Seattle.

🔼 Reunited And It Feels So Good. It’s been nearly four years since Sydney Studer and Reese Tappan shared a pitch together.

That will all change next month.

Studer played last season with Carolina and will be back and play alongside Tappan when the season kicks off next month.
