🔼 The Final Piece. The roster for the upcoming 2026-27 season is officially locked in for the WSU men’s hoops squad.

Coach Riley and staff added their final piece to the puzzle with the signing of Spanish guard Pedro Sancho Moraga.

The 19-year-old played for Zentro C.B.'s junior team in the Spanish fourth division prior to playing a prep season at The Academy of Central Florida.

In 15 games for Zentro in the 2024-2025 season, Sancho Moraga averaged 2.4 points, 1.3 rebounds, and an assist per game in 7.6 minutes per contest, shooting 30.8% from the field.

🔼 Expanded Coverage. On Thursday, WSU Athletics and the Bonneville Seattle Media Group announced a new multi-year partnership.

The new partnership allows Cougar Athletics to expand its reach in the Puget Sound region, as Seattle Sports (710-AM) will once again serve as the Seattle flagship station for Washington State Football and Men’s Basketball broadcasts.

Seattle Sports also serves as the radio flagship station of the Seattle Seahawks and Seattle Mariners, connecting sports fans with their favorite teams across the Pacific Northwest region.

🔼 Setting The Slate. Get out those calendars, we’ve got more dates to fill in.

The Washington State soccer team will play eight home games at Lower Soccer Field as part of its upcoming 2026 schedule.

The Cougars will host four Pac-12 games at Lower Soccer Field as part of the larger 17-match slate, hoping to qualify for the inaugural Pac-12 Women’s Soccer Tournament, November 11-15.

Under first-year head coach Chris Citowicki, the Cougar soccer team will ring in the school year with the first athletic event on campus, Wednesday, August 12, against Idaho at 6 p.m.

Cougs don't just show up on game day. They show up every day.

Cougs Mobile, a wireless service built in partnership with WSU, directs a portion of every payment toward WSU athletics and student programs, at no extra cost to you. No donation form. No pledge drive. Just your wireless plan backing Coug Country.

Unlimited plans from $25/mo. No contracts. No hidden fees. Keep your number.

🔼 Countin’ Down. Tick tock, tick tock, we’re getting closer and closer.

That’s right, we are just 5️⃣8️⃣ days away from the kickoff of the 2026 football season for the Cougs.

We always love to see the homegrown Cougs.

While he may have grown up 300+ miles across the state, Tumwater, Wash., native Malijah Tucker wears his Cougs jersey with pride as he is set to don #5️⃣8️⃣ again this fall for Wazzu.

Tucker made his collegiate debut last season, playing in two games on the defensive line before redshirting the remainder of the 2025 season.

At Tumwater, Tucker was an All-State and All-Area honoree, racking up over 140+ tackles and 35+ TFLs in his junior and senior seasons combined.

Throughout the summer, we will be counting down the days
to the return of Wazzu Football this fall. The Cougs will take on Washington
in the Apple Cup on Sept. 6 in Seattle.
