🔼 Among The Elite. Two of the most recognizable figures of WSU Football in recent memory were named among college football’s elite this week.
On Monday, the National Football Foundation (NFF) announced the names on the 2027 Ballot under consideration for induction into the NFF College Football Hall of Fame.
Among that group was All-American QB Ryan Leaf and all-time great head coach Mike Leach.
The 2027 ballot includes 80 players and nine coaches from the NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision and 99 players and 39 coaches from the NCAA divisional and NAIA ranks.

🔼 In Good Company. Ben Borgida was standing next to the CUB elevator when he got a call that he thought was spam. Despite not recognizing the number, Borgida picked up the phone and learned he was named one of Washington State University's 2026 Top 10 Seniors.
Borgida is a WSU golfer, which is what most people know him for, but he is also a dedicated student majoring in biology with a Spanish language certificate, who has done meaningful work outside of golf.
Through his leadership role in the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and his work helping develop the Athletes in STEM club, Borgida has created a community in which athletes feel connected.
🔼 Save The Date(s). We’ve got more dates to lock in!
