This week, the Cougs earned a ranking of #14 in the final USTFCCCA national poll of the 2025-26 season.

🔼 Back In The Bigs. Former WSU righthander Ian Hamilton is back in the big leagues for a fifth straight season, this time with a new club.
Hamilton returned to the mound this week with the Atlanta Braves, tossing a scoreless inning of relief on Wednesday against the San Diego Padres.
The 2016 draft pick has now appeared in 127 games over seven seasons with three different teams.

That’s right, we are just 7️⃣2️⃣ days away from the kickoff of the 2026 football season for the Cougs.
Was there any doubt who would be #7️⃣2️⃣ on our countdown?
Of course it would Abraham Lucas, the reigning Super Bowl champion with the Seattle Seahawks.
During his time at WSU, Lucas started all 42 games during his career becoming the first four-time All-Pac 12 offensive linemen in program history.
Throughout the summer, we will be counting down the days
to the return of Wazzu Football this fall. The Cougs will take on Washington
in the Apple Cup on Sept. 6 in Seattle.
