🔼 Party Like Its 1995. For the first time since 1995, the WSU Baseball team is celebrating a conference title this morning.
On Sunday, WSU won the 2026 Mountain West Conference Tournament Championship with a 14-4 victory in seven innings over San Diego State at Sloan Park in Mesa, Ariz.
The victory marks the Cougs’ first conference title since winning the Pac-10 North in 1995, its first overall conference title since winning the 1976 Pac-8 title and earns its first trip to the NCAA Tournament since 2010.
With three wins at the Mountain West Conference Tournament, WSU reached 30 wins for the first time since 2010.
