🔼 California Love. Midway through the Mountain West schedule, the Cougs are right in the middle of the fight after picking up another conference series victory, taking the final two games against San Jose State this past weekend.

Strong outings from Luke Meyers and Griffin Smith, along with a ninth inning rally in the series finale, led Wazzu to 5-3 and 6-3 victories to take two-of-three from the Spartans.

The Cougs sit at 7-5 in league, good for fourth place as they get set to host Oregon State in a two-game homestand today (4:05 pm) and tomorrow (1:05 pm).

Save on your phone plan while also supporting Wazzu. Cougs Mobile runs on the T-Mobile 5G network with plans starting at $20/month. Get exclusive gameday perks and support Washington State University with every monthly payment.

🔼 Hoppin’ Along. The Easter Bunny wasn’t the only one in action this past weekend.

WSU Football continued its spring practice under first-year head coach Kirby Moore as they hit the field at Union Stadium in Mead, Wash. on Saturday morning.

Following practice, the Cougar players hosted an hour-long kids clinic for more than 125 kids on the Union Stadium field.

Calling all Cougs: You could earn $150 when you join BECU. Offer ends April 30.

🔼 Drive To Five. Redshirt-junior Yura Nakagawa's come-from-behind, three-set victory provided the winning margin as WSU tennis rallied for a 4-3 victory over Gonzaga in a West Coast Conference action on Saturday.

With the win, the Cougars extend their win streak to five straight matches and improves their overall record to 12-6 and 4-1 in WCC play.

🔼 Weekend Best. A busy opening outdoor weekend was a successful one for the WSU track & field program.

The Cougs posted 17 personal bests, including three runners finishing on the podium, highlighted by Caroline Jepkorir’s second-place finish in the steeplechase.
