🙌 A NEW ERA HAS ARRIVED

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Growing Family. Wazzu men’s hoops continues to grow with two more transfers joining the Cougs next season.

Guards Jamari Phillips and Jaylen Harrell both signed on to play for the Crimson and Gray in 2026-27.

Phillips is an incoming junior transfer after spending the past two seasons at Oregon. The 6-4 California kid has serious range and played 40 games for the Ducks after being named the top Arizona prospect and a 4-star recruit out of Dream City.

Harrell arrives in Pullman with four years of eligibility after redshirting last season at Providence. The Boston area native possesses a guard-forward frame allowed him to dominate the New England prep scene as a two-time Gatorade POTY.

🔼 Making An Impact. Today, the WSU football squad is joining the “Get In The Game” campaign by NMDP.

Menmbers of the Cougs will be outside The Compton Union Building looking to help find more life-saving donors for patients in need of a blood stem cell transplant.

🔼 Future So Bright. The future of the WSU Women’s Golf team was on display at the 2026 West Coast Conference Championships.

A pair of underclassmen led the way for the Cougs with freshman Kaitlyn Helm earning a top-10 finish and sophomore Agnes Brink finishing tied for 20th. Senior Hannah Harrison was the third WSU standout to earn a top-25 finish at the championship.

Helm's final round of 73 lowered her season average to 73.92, breaking the WSU Freshman single-season record for scoring average. The freshman from Arizona recorded one birdie on the front nine before posting an even-par 36 on the back nine for a final-round one-over 73 to place tenth at five-over, tying for the tenth-best three-round score at a conference championship in program history.

🤔 COUGAR TRIVIA

As we mentioned, Kaitlyn Helm set a new program scoring average for a freshman with a season average of 73.92.

She also finished 10th at WCC Championships becoming just the third Coug to finish in the top-10 at a conference championship in the past 10 years.

How many Cougars all-time have finished in the top-10 at a conference championship?
