🔼 In The Nick Of Time. It was a masterpiece at Bailey-Brayton Field on Thursday afternoon as redshirt sophomore Nick Lewis put together one of the best pitching performances of the year for the WSU Baseball squad.
Lewis worked a career-high eight innings, allowing just one earned run and striking out two to earn his fourth win in his past five starts in a 3-2 thriller over Gardner-Webb.
Ryan Skjonsby drove in the go-ahead run in the eighth, while Dustin Robinson had three hits, including a home run in the victory.

🔼 Postseason Bound. With the NBA season set to wrap up on Sunday, one former Coug has already punched his ticket to the postseason.
Mouhamed Gueye and the Atlanta Hawks currently sit in the sixth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, but have already clinched at least a postseason spot in the play-in round. A win tonight against Cleveland would secure a spot in the top-six in the upcoming postseason.
Gueye has played in a career-high 76 games for Atlanta, averaging nearly 16 minutes a night, while scoring 4.4 points and grabbing 3.6 rebound per game. He’s scored in double-figures 11 times, including a career-best 21 points in a win over the Lakers back in November.

🙌 LEADING THE WAY
A new era of WSU Athletics is officially underway as Washington State University President Betsy Cantwell has selected Jon Haarlow as WSU's vice president and director of athletics.
Haarlow, who has served as the interim athletic director since November 12, 2025, will be introduced at a press conference in the Alger Family Club Room at Gesa Field, Monday, April 20 at 11 a.m. He becomes the 16th individual to lead Cougar athletics in school history.
Haarlow has more than five years of experience at Washington State University and 15 years in collegiate athletics. He joined WSU in 2021 as senior associate athletic director and chief financial officer for WSU Athletics.
