🔼 Smarty Cats. This week, five Cougar basketball standouts were recognized for their hard work both on and off the court this season.

Adria Rodriguez, Eemeli Yalaho and Parker Gerrits on the men’s side and Charlotte Abraham and Eleonora Villa for the women all earned Academic All-District accolades from the College Sports Communicators.

Three Cougar men's basketball student-athletes earned CSC Academic All-District® recognition for the first time in program history and were the first to receive the honor since Josh Hawkinson was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team in 2016.

Save on your phone plan while also supporting Wazzu. Cougs Mobile runs on the T-Mobile 5G network with plans starting at $20/month. Get exclusive gameday perks and support Washington State University with every monthly payment.

🔼 Continuing To Build. With the start of spring football on the docket for this week, WSU Head Football Coach Kirby Moore announced three more additions to his staff.

Joining the Cougar program are Neil Fendall (senior defensive analyst), Cadie Christensen (director of recruiting operations) and Xavier Delgado (offensive assistant).

Calling all Cougs: You could earn $150 when you join BECU. Offer ends April 30.

🔼 Youth Of A Nation. For the second time this season, the WSU baseball squad took home a weekly accolade from the Mountain West Conference.

This time, it was outfielder Matt Priest, who was named the Freshman of the Week by the conference office.

Priest helped the Cougars to a 3-1 record last week including a three-game sweep of Grand Canyon in Pullman over the weekend. The redshirt-freshman collected five hits with one triple, one home run, four RBI and two runs scored.

This is WSU's second player of the week award of the season after catcher Alexandre Giguère earned the same honor March 9 following the Texas State series.

Cougs, don’t miss your chance to hear what’s next for WSU Athletics.

Join us virtually on April 2 for an exclusive conversation with Interim Athletics Director Jon Haarlow and Head Coach Kirby Moore as they share the vision for Cougar Athletics—on and off the field. Whether you’re in the stands every Saturday or cheering from
afar, this is your opportunity to connect directly with WSU leadership and stay in the loop.

This free Zoom event is open to all Cougs, but registration is required.

Bonus: The first 500 people to register will be entered to win FOUR passes to an official WSUAA PreGame of your choice this fall. Locations announced soon.
