🔼 Crown Him. The kid who never left his home state is bringing a Super Bowl Championship home.
Everett, Wash., native Abraham Lucas joined an exclusive club on Sunday night as he became the latest WSU alum to hoist the Lombardi Trophy after Seattle’s dominant 29-13 victory over New England in Super Bowl LX.
He becomes the first Coug OL to win a Super Bowl since 1985 when Allan Kennedy won with the 49ers.
🔼 Game Week. Football season is over for a few months, now it’s baseball time.
It’s officially game week for the WSU Cougars, who are set to begin their 2026 campaign with a trip down south to battle SEC foe, Alabama, in a three-game set.
The season opener is scheduled for Friday, February 13 at 2 pm PT.

🔼 Acing The Aggies. The WSU tennis team continued their strong start to the 2026 season, improving to 3-1 after a dominant win on Saturday.
With UC Davis in town, the Cougs blew past the Aggies, 4-0.
🔼 Raising The Bar. While it may still be winter outside, the WSU track & field squad continue to heat up the track inside.
Evelina Sitnika and Nicole Yanasak set personal bests as the Cougs finish up their weekend at the Riverfront Invitational. Kaleena Narus also impressed this weekend, finishing in the top five of the Women's 3k, with a season-best time.

This week, former WSU hurler Ryan Walker reports to Spring Training with the San Francisco Giants for his fourth MLB season. Last year, Walker racked up 17 saves with the Giants, a single-season high for the reliever.
