🔼 Pretty In Pink. Sometimes, things just look better in pink, at least they did on Thursday night for the WSU women’s hoops team.
Putting together one of its most complete performances of the season, the Cougs rolled past Seattle, 69-55, in West Coast Conference action.
WSU finished with a 46-29 rebounding advantage and scored 34 points in the paint, while also converting a school record 17-of-17 at the free-throw line.
Alex Covill led the Cougars with 18 points, Eleonora Villa added 15, and Mackenzie Chatfield filled the stat sheet with seven assists and three steals.
Carry the card that carries your values.
🔼 Preseason Praise. With the season opener a month away, the WSU rowing squad received some preseason praise this week as the Cougs were picked to finish third in the WCC, while while sophomores Harriet Thompson and Freddy Todhunter were named to the All-WCC Preseason Team.
Thompson and Todhunter look to make continued impact coming off a strong fall season in which they both rowed in the 1V8 shell. They saw a first-place finish in the 1V8 at the Head of the Spokane, and third-place finishes at each the Head of the Lake and the Head of the American.
🤔 COUGAR TRIVIA
