🔼 Runnin’ Wild. With less than a month until the NCAA Indoor Championships, the WSU track & field is peaking at the perfect time.

A trio of Cougs etched their names in the record books led by Zenah Cheptoo and Rosemary Longisa set program records in the 5000m and 800m, respectively.

On the men’s side, Ku Stevens put his name into the record book, setting the ninth fastest mile time in WSU history.

Overall, 23 Cougs set personal bests at the Husky Invitational this past weekend.

🔼 Among The Stars. Two of our own found themselves among the stars this past weekend as Jaylen Wells and Cedric Coward were both selected to the Rising Stars Game as part of NBA All-Star Weekend.

In his rookie season, Coward is averaging 13.3 ppg and grabbing 6.2 rebounds per game, while Wells is coming on strong in year two, scoring in double-digits in seven straight games entering the break and is averaging 12.1 points per game and 3.4 rebounds per game.

Make your money work for you and your community.

🔼 Started With A Bang. The WSU baseball squad opened its 2026 season with an impressive opening day victory, bashing their way past SEC foe, Alabama, 8-4, on Friday afternoon in Tuscaloosa.

Max Hartman had three hits, homered, scored three times and stole base and Ryan Skjonsby homered as the Cougars collected 10 hits while five pitchers combined to strike out 11 Crimson Tide hitters.

🔼 Eyes On The Prize. All the offseason workouts. All the early morning wake-ups. It all leads up to this.

The WSU swimming and diving squad have their eyes on the prize as the Mountain West Championships are set to begin on Wednesday in Houston, Texas.

💪 RALLY TOGETHER

We all know the power of the Cougs. Now it’s time to show it once again.

This week, WSU Athletics' Cougar Athletic Fund launched its "Rally Your Region" fundraising campaign.

Rally Your Region is a fundraising initiative to promote philanthropic giving to the Cougar Athletic Fund in WSU Football Name, Image, Likeness (NIL). Donations are tax deductible and benefit the Football Excellence Fund.

Washington State has been divided into four regions, with a fifth "Out-of-State" region. When making a gift, donors will select a region, creating a friendly competition among Cougar fans and alumni.

🤔 COUGAR TRIVIA

In his final season with the Cougs, Max Hartman got things started with a big time HR in WSU’s season-opening win at Alabama.

In his four seasons in Pullman, how many HRs has Hartman blasted?

Got a guess?
