🔼 Boise Bound. On Sunday, the WSU football program accepted an invitational play in the 2025 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl on Monday, December 22.
Kickoff in Boise is set for 11 a.m. PT on ESPN.
The 2025 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl will feature the Cougars against Utah State (6-6) from the Mountain West Conference. The game will mark the sixth meeting all-time between the two teams, WSU holding a 3-2 advantage, with the most recent being a 49-28 Cougar victory at Gesa Field during the 2024 season.
The bowl selection marks the ninth bowl game in the last 10 full seasons for WSU and 10th in 13 seasons.
🔼 More Than A Game. When WSU men’s hoops square off with Oregon State on January 4, it’ll be more than just a basketball game.
Late last week, the two programs teamed together for Hoops 4 Hunger sponsored by Avista, which will benefit Second Harvest Inland Northwest.
Fans are encouraged to bring canned goods to the arena to help replenish the food bank's shelves following the holidays. Second Harvest encourages fans to donate non-perishable foods including canned meats, soups, dry or canned beans, pasta, rice, cereal, canned fruits and vegetables and nut butters.
🔼 Medaling Up. Competing against some of the best in the country, the WSU swimming program went toe-to-toe, earning three top-10 finishes at the US Open in Austin, Texas over a busy weekend.
