๐Ÿ”ผ Letโ€™s Go Bowling. With only one shot to punch their ticket for a bowl bid, the WSU football team did just that in dominant fashion.

The Cougs earned the programโ€™s third bowl bid in the past four seasons and 20th overall with a 32-8 victory over Oregon State at Gesa Field on Saturday.

Senior quarterback Zevi Eckhaus guided a balanced offensive attack, throwing for 197 yards and a touchdown while adding 63 rushing yards and a second score on the ground. Sophomore back Kirby Vorhees added a short touchdown run as WSU finished with a season-high 186 rushing yards on 34 carries, averaging 5.5 yards per attempt.

The Cougar defense turned in one of its strongest outings of the season, holding Oregon State scoreless until the fourth quarter. WSU applied consistent pressure, recording six sacks and seven tackles for loss while forcing three turnovers. Senior linebacker Parker McKenna led the defensive effort with seven tackles, and defensive end Isaac Terrell added 1.5 sacks as the Beavers struggled to find rhythm. Interceptions by Colby Humphrey and Caleb Francl halted promising Oregon State drives and set up favorable field position for the Cougar offense.

๐Ÿˆ The Full Recap

๐Ÿ”ผ Finishing Strong. The WSU volleyball squad capped off its 2025 season with a sweep of San Francisco on Saturday, to finish the campaign at 17-11 overall.

Eliana Ti'a powered the attack with one of her most efficient outings of the season, pouring in 16 kills on .583 hitting to go along with seven digs and an ace.

Mary Healy added 10 kills and three blocks, while Melina Christodoulou chipped in nine kills and a team-high seven digs as the Cougars spread the offense with ease.

๐Ÿ”ผ The Island Split. Not only did the WSU womenโ€™s hoops squad enjoy some fun in the sun, but the Cougs got the first W of the 2025-26 season at the Paradise Jam, grinding past the Redhawks of Miami (Ohio) on Friday.

Leading the way in the victory was Eleonora Villa, who powered the offense all night, pouring in a career-high 25 points on an efficient 10-of-17 shooting clip, including four treys.

Charlotte Abraham added a career-best 18 points while shooting 5-of-6 from the field and a perfect 6-of-6 from the charity stripe.
