🔼 Super Senior. Tonight, senior Eleonora Villa and the WSU women’s hoops team is back in action against Oregon, who received votes in this week’s national Top-25 polls.
In her final collegiate season, Villa is off to a hot start, scoring 20+ points in the season opener for the 20th time in her career in the Cougs’ season opener at Cal.
She also reached 1,500+ career points, 250+ career rebounds, climbed to sixth all-time in minutes played in WSU history and seventh all-time in career FGs and 3-pointers.
Tonight’s tip against the Ducks is set for 7 p.m. on B1G+.

🔼 Making Waves. Back for her second season, WSU sophomore swimming standout Barbora Mileisyte is already making waves for the Cougs.
After a stellar performance in Arizona last week, the Lithuania native secured Pac-12 Swimmer of the Week accolades.
Mileisyte and the Cougars return to action this Friday, Nov. 6, in Pullman. The Cougars will host Fresno State at Gibb Pool starting at 5 p.m. Admission is free, and a live stream of the meet will be available on the WSU Cougars YouTube channel.

🔼 Shining Bright. The season may be wrapping up for the WSU soccer squad, but its alums are still shining bright at the pro level.
Seven different former Cougs are in action in the pros, led by Elyse Bennett, who found the back of the net in the first leg of the NSL semifinal victory for Roses de Montréal.
A victory in Sunday’s second leg of the semifinal would propel the Roses into the NSL Championship.
The 509 rivalry is back! The Cougs take on Eastern Washington on December 22 at Spokane Arena for the 2026 509 Classic. Bragging rights to the 509 are on the line, so come cheer on Washington State in Spokane!
