🔼 House Protected. The WSU men’s hoops squad started fast and never looked back. on Monday night, notching their first win of the 2025-26 season in a 81-71 victory over St. Thomas (Minn.) at Beasley Coliseum
Tomas Thrastarson led the team in scoring with a new career high 19 points and seven rebounds. Emmanuel Ugbo added 12 with six rebounds.
ND Okafor had his best game of the season with 12 points and six rebounds. Adrià Rodriguez had a season-high nine points, five rebounds and four assists.
🔼 Making Waves. When you reach a milestone win, you’re going to turn some heads.
That was the case for WSU senior swimming standout Emily Lundgren, who was named Mountain West Conference Swimmer of the Week on Tuesday.
Lundgren earns her first conference honor of the season after earning the same recognition twice last season en route to being named the Mountain West Conference Swimmer of the Year and picking up All-America accolades.
The senior from Chula Vista, Calif. won all four races she competed in, three as an individual one on a relay team, helping WSU to a 195-66 win over Colorado State in Pullman last Friday. Lundgren helped the 200 medley relay win while her three induvial wins in the 100 Breast, 200 Breast and 200 IM were career wins No. 49, 50 and 51, respectively, helping the Cougars improve to 3-0 in dual meets this season.
🔼 Put That One On The Mantle. Welp, that ball is going into a case for Kyle Williams.
The former WSU standout blistered his way into the endzone on that 72-yard TD as the Patriots rolled to another victory.
It was the third catch and first TD of Williams’ NFL career, which is just 10 games old.
He was one of six former Cougs to see action this weekend.
🤔 COUGAR TRIVIA

As we mentioned, Kyle Williams’ 72-yard TD was the first of his young NFL career.
In his two seasons in Pullman, how many receiving TDs did Williams reel in for the Cougars?
Got a guess?
