🔼 The One Where The Cougs Win. On a night where the Cougs celebrated “Friends” Night, the sweep was so clean for WSU that even Monica would have approved.

Melina Christodoulou led the efficient Cougar attack with 10 kills, three blocks, and 12 total points, while Lucie Blažková had perhaps her best all-around match of the year, finishing with seven kills on .700 hitting, five blocks, and an ace for 11 points.

Livia Ward directed the offense with precision, dishing out 22 assists and adding an ace a kill of her own. Italia Bernal chipped in 13 assists and two aces, while Tinons Munar Galmés anchored the defense with 10 digs and an ace.

At the net, Washington State's block was unstoppable. The Cougars totaled 12 team blocks, with Camryn Lingenbrink and Mary Healy combining for eight rejections.

🔼 Trophy Hunting. While millions are prepping for Trick-or-Treating later tonight, the WSU cross country squads have their eyes on a different type of prize.

The Cougs are set to lace ‘em up at the 2025 WCC Cross Country Championships, hosted at The Course Spokane Valley tomorrow morning.

The women’s 6K race starts at 10:00 a.m. PT and the men’s 8K race begins at 11:00 a.m. Both championships and the awards ceremony will be streamed live on ESPN+.

🔼 Beaver Hunting. Another road trip is on the weekend agenda for the WSU football program, but this one’s a lot closer.

The Cougs travel southwest to take on longtime rival Oregon State in the first of two meetings this season. Tomorrow’s showdown will be a non-conference showdown, with the meeting on Nov. 29 being a Pac-12 Conference contest.

WSU leads the all-time series with Oregon State 57-49-3, with the all-time series in Corvallis is tied at 25-25. This season will be just the second time in series history the teams have met twice in the same season. In 1945, WSU won both contests, a 33-0 victory in Pullman (10/6) followed by a 13-6 win in Corvallis (11/17).
