🔼 Talkin’ Ball. We are less than two weeks away from the return of Cougar Hoops and on Thursday, both WSU programs stepped behind the mics to preview the upcoming season at the annual WCC Media Day event.

🔼 They’re Backkkk. After going toe-to-toe with two of the nation’s top-20 teams over the past two weeks, the WSU football team is finally back in Pullman this weekend, to host Toledo on Family Weekend.

Tomorrow’s matchup with the Rockets will be the first time the Cougs have played at home in over a month.

Kickoff is set for 12:30 pm PT.

🔼 Let’s Have Some Fun. With Washington State football hosting its first game this Saturday in over a month, Cougar Athletics would like to remind fans attending Saturday's game against Toledo of recent changes to beer and wine sales at Gesa Field.

Beginning last month, WSU Athletics announced a new pilot program that allows for walk-around beer and wine sales at Gesa Field. The initiative is designed to enhance the fan experience while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and responsible consumption. While beer and wine sales are now permitted in the general seating area, enhancing the gameday experience, the goal for Cougar Athletics is to do so prioritizing a safe and responsible environment for all.

🔼 Beaver Hunting. With just a few weeks left in the regular season, the WSU women’s soccer team is making a push towards the top of the WCC standings.

On Wednesday night, the Cougs earned a thrilling 1-0 road victory at Oregon State to earn three points and now sit in a tie for fourth with four regular season matches remaining.

WSU freshman Keira Mitchell delivered her second game-winning goal of the season, finding the back of the net in the 83rd minute to help the Cougs grab the win.

WSU's defense earned its fifth shutout of the season and limited the Beavers to just three shots on target in 16 attempts. Zora Standifer earned her second clean sheet as a Coug and WSU brought it's goals against average down to 0.87.

🔼 The Island Life. WSU Women's Golf used an impressive final round to climb three spots and finish sixth at the 29th Rainbow Wahine Invitational played at the Ocean Course at Hokuala Wednesday.

The Cougars tied for the third-best team score (-3) during Wednesday's final round to finish the tournament sixth at ten-over, just two strokes behind fifth-place BYU.

Freshman Kaitlyn Helm led the way for Washington State, carding four birdies in her final-round 70 to move up two spots and tie for eighth at three-under. It is the Phoenix native's second Top-10 of the season after tying for third at the Badger Invitational in September.
