🔼 Coming Home. One-third of the way into conference play, the WSU volleyball team find themselves right in the mix with two huge conference matchups on the docket this week at Bohler Gym.

First up is first-place and unbeaten San Diego, who is set to battle the Cougars tomorrow night at 7 p.m. in the annual Block Out Cancer game for WSU.
Saturday, LMU heads to Pullman for a 1 p.m. matchup with the Cougs.
🔼 Showin’ Out. Six weeks of the NFL season have wrapped up, marking over a third of the regular season now completed.
The Cougs continue to see a handful of alumni seeing time across the league, in a plethora of roles.
Leading the way this week was Frankie Luvu, who showed out on Monday Night Footbal, racking up six tackles and his second sack in the past three weeks for the Commanders.
Facing one of the NFL’s top offenses, Jalen Thompson was the Cardinals’ best defender in a tough loss, recording six tackles and allowing just six total yards against him in nearly 60 defensive snaps.
Daiyan Henley continued his strong season for the Chargers in a road win at Baltimore, tallying seven tackles and a TFL in the victory.
🔼 Young Gun. Now that’s how you make a first impression!
After just one collegiate meet, WSU swimmer Avery Bulkley was named the Mountain West Conference Freshman of the Week.
Bulkley had an impressive debut, winning the 1650 free, finishing fourth in the 500 free and helped the 800 free relay to a second-place finish while the Cougars finished the meet in third place.
Bulkley earns WSU's first conference honor of the season after Darcy Revitt earned the same recognition four times last season.
🔼 Dynamic Duo. It was quite a week for the Cougar tennis duo of Eva Alvarez Sande and Maxine Murphy.
The pair marched their way into the doubles final at the 2025 ITA Northwest Regional, but dropped a heartbreaker, 6-4, 1-6 (12-10) to Cal’s nationally-ranked tandem.
