🔼 One Win Away. 60 minutes. That’s all that separates a pair of former Cougs from reaching the Super Bowl.

Abraham Lucas (Seahawks) and Kyle Williams (Patriots) both advanced in statement wins in the divisional round to reach the NFC and AFC Championship games, respectively.

Lucas, Seattle’s starting right tackle, has the most snaps for any offensive lineman in the NFL and was an anchor as the Seahawks dominated the 49ers, 41-6, on Saturday evening.

Williams had three targets in New England’s 28-16 home win over Houston and now head to Denver next weekend for a chance at Super Bowl berth.

The WSU women’s tennis opened its 2026 spring season in dominant fashion, posting a 6-1 win over Idaho on Sunday afternoon.

The win marked the 28th-straight over Idaho in the series and the first for first-year Head Coach Josh Graetz as a Cougar.

🔼 Life In The Fast Lane. Good thing for the WSU track & field squad, they don’t give tickets on the track.

The Cougs opened the 2026 portion of their indoor schedule with a successful trip to the UW Preview Meet.

Sophomore Eric Swedin highlighted the weekend with a victory in the men’s one mile run. In total 18 Cougars set personal bests at the meet.

The WSU baseball program is just 25 days away from the start of the 2026 season. Wearing #25 for the Cougs this spring will be senior right-hander Griffin Smith.
