🔼 Football Coverage. Washington State University Athletics and Connoisseur Media announced a new multi-year partnership aligning Cougar Football broadcasts with Portland's 750 The Game (KXTG). This deal expands radio coverage, pregame, and postgame shows across the Portland and Southwest Washington area, featuring a returning broadcast team led by play-by-play announcer Chris King. In addition to local radio affiliates, fans can stream every game for free on the WSU Cougars Gameday app, at WSUCougars.com, or listen via SiriusXM satellite radio starting September 6.

That’s right, we are now 3️⃣0️⃣ days away from the kickoff of the 2026 football season for the Cougs.
Last season, our first football game was on Aug. 3️⃣0️⃣, 2025. The Cougs beat Idaho 13-10 at home. Let’s get another season opening dub in 2026!
Throughout the summer, we will be counting down the days
to the return of Wazzu Football this fall. The Cougs will take on Washington
in the Apple Cup on Sept. 6 in Seattle.
