🔼 In the Pros. There are 14 Washington State Cougars in NFL Training Camps. Last season, 14 Cougars played in the NFL regular season, six continued their seasons in the playoffs, two played in Super Bowl LX and Abraham Lucas won Super Bowl LX with the Seattle Seahawks.

🔼 Countin’ Down. Tick tock, tick tock, we’re getting closer and closer.
That’s right, we are now 3️⃣2️⃣ days away from the kickoff of the 2026 football season for the Cougs.
This season, we have a new player wearing #3️⃣2️⃣. Max Dean is a transfer from New Mexico State. He enrolled with the Cougs in January 2026 and participated in spring practices. Last season, he appeared in 12 games for the Aggies, totaling 55 punts for 2,324 yards and an average of 42.3 yards per punt.
Throughout the summer, we will be counting down the days
to the return of Wazzu Football this fall. The Cougs will take on Washington
in the Apple Cup on Sept. 6 in Seattle.
🔼 Promoted! Congratulations to Jackie Mudd. Mudd was promoted to an associate head coach for the swim team. Last season, Mudd helped the Cougars finish second at the Mountain West Conference Championships, posting their second straight undefeated season after going 7-0 in dual meets and produced 12 All-Conference selections, four All-Conference relay teams, and two All-Americans for the first time in program history.
